Data Loading Simplified
Getting started with a new software system can be daunting, especially when it comes to loading data. However, with PackTotal, we offer two approaches to make data loading quick and easy and to to get you up and running as quickly as possible
Included in all our packages is a standard data load. It allows you to take Excel files, in a specific format we specify, and load the data into PackTotal. Our missing data reports can help you easily identify any packaging components with mandatory data missing so that you can quickly fix any issues.
For more complex data, we offer customized data loading. Our team will take your data, regardless of format, and create custom load routines to pull your data into PackTotal. This option comes at an additional cost that depends on the complexity of your data. We will provide you with a fully populated database containing your data once the loading process is complete.
If you prefer, you can choose to add new components and products to PackTotal manually as you need to report on them.
Integration and Customization
PackTotal also offers the capacity for you to request custom modules which are relevant to your specific company. Custom modules may include integration with other line of business systems.
Technical Requirements
Operating System: PackTotal is a Windows application which can be installed on a single PC or on a network server for multiple people to access.
Database: Data is stored in a SQL Server database, we recommend SQL server 2019, but it will run on SQL Server 2016 and later if you have an existing database you wish to use.
Cloud: PackTotal can work on a cloud installation just as easily as on a local server. Your IT company will be able to install it in a cloud and configure access to the database.
Licencing: You will need 1 licence per company that you wish to submit a PPT or Waste report for. You can have unlimited users for each license so each department can input the data they are responsible for.
