Technical Requirements
Operating System: PackTotal is a Windows application which can be installed on a single PC or on a network server for multiple people to access.
Database: Data is stored in a SQL Server database, we recommend SQL server 2019, but it will run on SQL Server 2016 and later if you have an existing database you wish to use.
Cloud: PackTotal can work on a cloud installation just as easily as on a local server. Your IT company will be able to install it in a cloud and configure access to the database.
PackTotal Licensing
PackTotal is provided for you to install the database and software on your own company server, either on premises or on a cloud server.
As standard we offer an annual single company, 15-user licence. This entitles the licencee to manage, calculate (PPT and EPR) and report on the data for a single company.
A group of companies would need a single company licence for each company in the group.
The annual licence fee includes support, maintenance, and version updates. As these are very new regulations, we anticipate that they will be adjusted regularly, and a significant amount of development work will need to be undertaken until the regulations become more established.
Pre-Requisites: The database requires Microsoft SQL Server to be installed. A licence for MS SQL Server is not included.
