DEFRA Announces Webinar Schedule for 2024

The Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA) has released the schedule for their monthly Business Readiness Forums, Local Authority Engagement Forums and Waste Management Forums for 2024.

In addition to the forums, DEFRA also offers a Resources & Waste Reforms newsletter that provides regular updates on waste management regulations, industry news, and upcoming events.

The forums are tailored to specific groups to ensure that the content and discussions are relevant and actionable. The three main forums are:

Business Readiness Forum: This forum is designed for industry representatives, businesses, trade associations, compliance schemes etc.  

Waste Management Forum: This forum brings together waste collectors, waste managers, material facilities, and representing bodies and groups.

Local Authority Stakeholder Forum: This invite-only forum is specifically for local authorities, councils, and representing groups.

These forums serve as a platform for stakeholders across various sectors to stay informed, engage in discussions, and contribute to shaping the future of resource and waste management in the UK.

Interested participants are encouraged to review the schedule and register for the sessions they would like to attend.
